Popin once again partners with our friends at Euro Commercials in Cardiff to help deliver a brand new vehicle complete with livery for the children's hospice: Ty Hafan based in Sully, South Wales. 2025 marks the second occasion that we have partnered with Euro Commercials to help deliver on a key asset for the hospice. This new vehicle will aid in continuing to deliver on the amazing work that they do in terms of care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Bringing Comfort, Compassion, and Care
Ty Hafan is one of Wales’ leading children’s hospices, offering vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Based in Sully, near Cardiff, the hospice provides expert palliative care both at the hospice and in the home, managing complex symptoms, offering end-of-life care, and improving quality of life for each child. But their work goes far beyond medical care; they focus on helping children and families live every moment to the fullest.
A core part of Ty Hafan’s approach is holistic support for the whole family. Parents, siblings, and carers receive emotional, psychological, and practical help, including bereavement support when needed. Families can also benefit from short breaks through respite care, giving them time to rest while knowing their child is in safe, loving hands. The hospice offers therapies and creative activities, like music, play, and art, that help children make happy memories and experience joy in their daily lives.
In addition to hands-on care, TY Hafan plays a crucial role in raising awareness and advocating for the rights and needs of families facing life-limiting diagnoses. With limited government funding, the charity depends on public donations, fundraising, and income from its charity shops to sustain its services. Every contribution helps ensure that no family in Wales faces the heartbreak of a child’s serious illness alone.
New Van, New Look
Euro Commercials donated a brand new Mercedes-Benz Vito to Ty Hafan, providing the children’s hospice with a much-needed vehicle to support their work across Wales. This generous donation will serve as a vital transport link for the families Ty Hafan cares for, helping them attend appointments, access services, and stay connected with the hospice's wider network of support. The Vito’s reliability and versatility make it a perfect fit for the charity’s growing outreach efforts.
Of course, no company vehicle would be complete without a fetching new look! Utilising the charity's latest branding assets, Popin designed and installed a partial vehicle livery as a donation to the cause. Using a high-quality 6–8 year conformable vinyl, the van was wrapped with a bright, welcoming design that aligns perfectly with Ty Hafan’s updated brand identity. The friendly, colourful graphics ensure the vehicle stands out on the road, spreading awareness while reflecting the warmth and hope at the heart of their mission.
